# request_link_check (retired name)

> request_link_check now resolves to request_check.

`request_link_check` is a retired command name. Calls to it on MCP, HTTP and the CLI resolve to [`request_check`](/reference/commands/request_check) with `subject` set to `link` and `watchId` renamed to `subjectId`, returning the same result, until 2027-09-16. Use the canonical name in new work.
