# get_target_evidence (retired name)

> get_target_evidence now resolves to get_evidence.

`get_target_evidence` is a retired command name. Calls to it on MCP, HTTP and the CLI resolve to [`get_evidence`](/reference/commands/get_evidence) with `subject` set to `target`, returning the same result, until 2027-09-16. Use the canonical name in new work.
