# get_link_history (retired name)

> get_link_history now resolves to get_history.

`get_link_history` is a retired command name. Calls to it on MCP, HTTP and the CLI resolve to [`get_history`](/reference/commands/get_history) with `subject` set to `link` and `watchId` renamed to `subjectId`, returning the same result, until 2027-09-16. Use the canonical name in new work.
