# AgentLinkOps documentation

> Check backlink placements, monitor changes and review dated evidence with AgentLinkOps. Connect your agent, use the CLI, or build with the authenticated API.

AgentLinkOps checks backlinks and monitors changes. Use it through your agent, the CLI or the API. Keep campaign decisions, relationships and outreach in the tools you already use.

[Install the skill, connect your agent and check a placement](/quickstart). Hosted access currently requires a pilot invitation; [availability](/capability-status) describes what your account can use.

## Choose your connection

* [Skill](/quickstart): `npx -y agentlinkops agent setup` installs the skill pack and the MCP entry for each agent client you have; your agent then reads the [agent reference](/reference/agent-reference) once per session. This is the recommended path.
* [MCP by hand](/guides/connect-mcp): add the server URL yourself when your client does not support skills.
* [CLI](/guides/connect-cli): use terminal commands with a scoped API key.
* [HTTP API](/guides/connect-http): build your own client.

Each shared operation has MCP, CLI and HTTP examples on one [reference page](/reference/index). For documentation search and machine-readable contracts, see [agent access to these docs](/reference/agents).

## Optional local workflows

With the supplied CLI, you can [check one page without an account](/guides/first-result). A [local ledger](/ledger) can keep campaign intent and observations in files you own. It is optional for hosted use.

You can also [sync and export history](/guides/sync-and-export) or give your agent [local site and search context](/guides/local-context).

Read [evidence states](/evidence) to interpret an uncertain result, or use [troubleshooting](/guides/troubleshooting) when a request fails.
